Humble Bundle: Origin Sale (wtf?! Battlefield 3?) - NO money goes to EA!

Not so sure they "listened" so much as got scared. Listening would have entailed not having any of that in the first place...

Sony served up MS's @$$es on gold platters at E3, giving gamers the device they wanted, not the device that MS/Hollywood/EA wanted. The used game sharing video destroyed everything MS was trying to do. The backlash MS was getting from the gamers left and right as more and more crap was released about the XBox One did nothing. It wasn't until Sony said the PS4 wasn't going to have any of those stupid limitations that MS finally changed.

What are the odds of them adding Dragon Age origins to this bundle? Jonesin to play it on pc but don't want to spend $30.....

It's probably worth noting that the PC version of Dead Space has some crippling technical problems. If you turn Vsync on, it introduces an incredible amount of input lag - more than it usually does in other games I mean - and the game becomes unplayable. We're talking like nearly a second delay.

However, if you turn Vsync off, the screen tearing is absolutely horrendous (As in, you didn't know it was possible for your screen to tear that bad); and on top of that, it actually breaks the game in such a way that makes it impossible for you to progress. In the beginning of the game, there's a doorway you have to walk through. Leaving Vsync turned off disallows you from actually entering the doorway. You'll just end up hitting an invisible barrier. It's incredibly bizarre.

The only way to get Dead Space to run in a desirable manner is to have Vsync turned off, and use a framerate limiter to limit the game to your monitor's refresh rate. The lower the framerate, the less glitchy the game is (sounds silly, I know). I recommend using D3DOverrider to force triple buffering. Works like a charm.

Funny you say that. I was excited as hell to load us DS last night only to not be able to get through that first doorway. I was like 'nope' and turned it off.

Can anyone get burnout to run on anything higher than win xp? I had to do some tweeks to get it running last night (it ran well) but this morning no go.

It isn't that big of a pain to install Origin too.

Believe me I'd rather not, but at some point I had to cave on it (for some particular game) and it isn't that big of a deal... it's worth it (once their servers are working again) in order to get some of these games for that cheap.

Actually got Sims 3 back on black friday, still won't install it because of origin. (I did want the extra packs but noep)

Nope

I mentioned earlier that it crashed every time I tried to boot it. Never got it to work and gave up.

there was a fix for that i remember having that problem too... but i cant remember what it was... i THINK it had to do with the gamepad...

Burnout has always ran fine for me on multiple PCs over the years without messing with it at all except for one circumstance.
I had a problem running it on my laptop. When it got to the license picture taking part it would crash. I had to disable the built in camera on the laptop, then it worked fine.

web cam off, aa x8, qual high, -multithread and compatibly set to win 95 (even tho xp sp3 worked last time) Works but im scare to close it.

I've never had any issues running Burnout Paradise on Win 7. Haven't tried it yet on Win 8, but I imagine it should work just as well.

Damn this is a really good deal. I have not played any of these games and I enjoyed Battlefield 2 quite a bit. All of them for 5 bucks, I may just have to bite.

Guys, just to clarify before I blew 5 bucks for nothing :

I already have BF3, can I gift it while keeping everything else to myself ?
