It's weird, there was a girl I met spring term (no really, I did meet a girl!) and she was the hugging type and I basically shoved her off, now that I've gotten to know her more, I love getting hugs from her 🙂

im sorry, but i only move in for a hug on my gf... and im a little odd when i get hugged by others.. hey.. they flock good looking 6'8" guys 😉

a few reasons: world series, nba championship, superbowl, stanley cup.

it's okay for males to hug when their teams win any of those 4.

Hugs are nice if from friends I like or hot guys and girls. I don't like it when teacher gives me a hug though. Some teacher likes to hug their students before we're out for the summer.

And I would not cuddle unless I find them attractive.

LMAO to the first part. SO SO very true. And guys hugging....there's only RARE exceptions for that...but for guys to just hug for the heck of it like a girl would give a guy a hug...that is just WRONG!
 
hmmm... I've changed position on this a few times.

Sincere hugs are acceptable. Some people give hugs as a way of getting attention or worse as a way of falsely implying sincerity. I decline hugs from people whenever it is not apparent what thier intentions are, that's my right, and ends up making them uncomfortable which is fine with me.

Stop shoving your one sided opinion up other's throat.

I personally don't like hugs from strangers, but I love getting 'em from my friends especially if I'm in a groggy mood. It helps me feel a little enlightened. I gave a hug to a friend who happens to be a guy in middle of the hallway for a few secs. Does that make me a bad person?
