I personally don't like hugs from strangers, but I love getting 'em from my friends especially if I'm in a groggy mood. It helps me feel a little enlightened. I gave a hug to a friend who happens to be a guy in middle of the hallway for a few secs. Does that make me a bad person?
don't take this the wrong way, because it isn't meant to an insult, but i don't think you qualify as a guy in that case. at least in my mind... i separate "males" into a few different categories... and i consider "guys" to be your stereotypical male that likes sports, low brow comedy, magazines like maxim, etc. there are other categories i have, like "men" (see: patton), and a category i have yet to name, which you seem to fall under. to me, one of the qualifications of being a guy is that you don't want hugs from other guys.
in short, i don't think it makes you a bad person, i just think that you're not a guy, so the statement doesn't really apply to you.
