Good for Hugo.

I wish that more leaders had the cajones to pull this kind of stunt and chisel into world opinion that the shit like the current happenings are beyond twisted. Right or wrong, helpless and innocent people are being slaughtered.

It's almost too bad that the price of oil fell so much--Venezuela had to end its Citgo-sponsored subsidized/free heating oil program for low-income folks in the US.

You know, that terrorist-lover Hugo Chaves was actually handing out heating oil to low-income Americans... 'cause he hates America so much... and stuff...

lol ur either evil or stupid

What's so evil about helping low-income Americans heat their home during the winter?

nevermind, you're either stupid or a troll

Nevermind, indeed.

Judging from the posts of you and your ilk over the last few days, there is no argument in the world which will dislodge that muscular and "righteous" puppeteer arm you gents have got far up your asses.

Ideological disagreements fuel in you so much rabid froth that no good deed shines through, apparently. Okie-dokie, I suppose you can always reduce yourself further to name-calling!

I think I'll just sit back and watch this forum develop with a buttery bowl of popcorn. The lawyering around here is better than in Judge Judy's court!

So do you think Chavez should stop selling oil to the US as a way to punish America for the 100k innocents it killed in Iraq?

As I asked, do you still have morals when they affect your way of life.

I thought that Iraq was competely legit? Multi-national intelligence supported the invasion, right? I was under the impression that we brought peace and democracy to those Mesopotamian savages--I saw this on TV.

So is the Israel invasion if you watch the right newsources...

I would bet good money most people on this forum would not support the same treatment they call for Israel to receive to receive for the US if the US was suddenly maid to pay for the 100k innocent people it killed in the last few years. Compared to the innocents Israel has killed since 2000 the US looks like a bloodthirsty monster which deserves all sorts of nasty sanctions ect ect.

Most peoples morals do not extend to there own home turf.

Though you make a good point and is the basis of my sig, the right side depends on your side.

He should kick out the American ambassador and stop selling oil to the US for killing 100k+ innocent Iraq civilians than as well right?

Or do your morals only apply to events that do not affect you.

Uh, ya, it's a question that he hasn't stuck his neck out on where he disagrees with the US.

There's an issue of doing what's effective. He's engaged the US plenty on issues.

But, ask and you shall recive, he did expel the US Ambassador just last September in solidarity with Bolivia.

I'll look forward to your praising him.

Or are you going to condemn him whether he does or does not do it, because you aren't actually making any rational point, just attacking blingly?

Nope, Its a good thing if Chavez sticks by his convictions. Few people like that in this world.

My question was valid and so was my followup comment. You just gave it credibility with your taking offense to people criticizing your country for actions it has commited and trying to turn it back around. Blindly attacking? I stated a fact of innocent people killed in Iraq and specifically linked it to his comment, again you got offended over nothing and just added credibility to my comment that most people don't have the balls to stand by there convictions when it comes home.

I did no such thing. How did I show you most don't stick by their convictions by showing you Chavez had stuck by his convictions? Or by taking offense at false statements?

But for what it's worth I agree that pretty much every nation adjusts its backing of 'principles' to take into account its interests.

That doesn't make the principles they do defend bad; some great progress is made when nations can and do push for good change.

Post evidence that hunger and/or starvation are higher now than immediately preceding his presidency, or admit you made up a lie.

Edit:

Of course you won't; I can't remember you ever posting responsibly with any facts to back up your points, so I'll have to do it for you as usual.

This guy just cant stay out of the spotlight. As soon as he thinks the world has forgotten his shithole of a country, he has to make some "bold" political move.

Hopefully the CIA's plan B works.

Because we import ~ 10% of our oil from somewhere, we cant be critical of them?

Id gladly pay more at the pump to stop funding that guy. I have a feeling he wont ever get the chance to live out his dream though.

Morally, you deserve a bullet in your head as much as any criminal who would harm others.

You are just as morally responsible for the violence that you vote for as if you were committing the violence yourself. But the armchair safety sure breeds arrogant immorality.

Do you even understand that you have also made yourself the enemy of democracy?
