Huckabee: Demonizing Obama Is A "Fatal" Campaign Strategy

Going by what people are writing on this forum we can get an idea of what the Republicans have to hit Obama with:

1. He is an empty suit. I think this means Obama lacks experience. This is going to be a hard sell. Obama is saying CHANGE and this will work going by the Mr Bush's approval numbers in the last polls I have seen.

2. Tax and Spend:

3. Mr Obama is a liar. Which refers to the mistakes Mr Obama has made in his campaign speeches.

4. Race.

5. Demonizing Mr Obama's wife.

The Tax and Spend attack might work. People do not want to pay taxes. But I think race will get the Republicans the best bang for the buck

You left out his communist paper boy.

did he pay the paperboy?

was the paperboy an undercover agent of red china used to launder funds from Obama's wallet back to the motherland?

a vote for Obama is an endorsement of the tiananmen square massacre. :frown:

and no doubt, who knows more about winning a national campaign than the guy who carried 8 states.

However, the overt and covert racism of this campaign at the least will keep those few percent away from the polls, and at the most, cause them to vote Democratic.

what racism? do you expect the republican party to go out of their way to disavow every single button or bumper sticker made by guys looking to make a buck?

There's still a lot of racism in the deep south but it's not like they weren't voting republican anyway...
I hear it every day. They would rather have bill clinton or jimmy carter (both southern boys ironically) than a black. Though, blacks have to share the disdain with just about every other group other than southern white. I've also heard that there is going to be a "huge" write-in vote for huckabee this fall. There are still many that believe that the earth is only 6000 years old. Pretty lame but it's the reality down here.

"Huge" write-in vote for Huckabee? The bigger, the better, afaic.

It would be the ultimate irony if, in the process of trying to fracture Dems with faux Hillary Love, that Repubs would fracture themselves instead.

Comedy Gold and Poetic Justice all rolled into one...

I have to say I disagree with Huckabee. If I were John McCain I would be trashing Obama with everything in sight. It's really his only chance.

But he can't. His temperament is already an issue.

McCain's only hope is for a miracle, and I'm praying he doesn't find it.

I 'heard' that McCain has a bad temper. I can't remember where I heard it but have heard it so many times that it must be true.

Hey, maybe I'd be a good swiftboater. I really like boats anyway - especially fast boats.
