The problem with the term "free speech" is that in the Repub vernacular, free speech means having the ability to lie with wanton abandon, to deceive, misdirect, misinform and cheat in order to further and sustain their political grip over the government especially since they have become (as the national popular vote indicates) the minority party of the nation.

Without a majority, their only recourse is to resort to fascism as a means of controlling the gov't. and it looks like their wholesale backing of Trump's efforts to do just that is something they're looking forward to.
