noone is interested what you're able to buy or not.

This is a hardware forum and probably 99,99% of people here are interested in facts. If you dont like the X1900XT(X) the best card right now and PROBABLY even beats a 7800 in SLI in one game....well so be it.

And..your statement "the 7800 is still champion"....nice one 🙂 You had about the same credibility with what you're saying if you'd defend a gf4mx...you'd probably also say the review is biased because the gf4 loses, right ?

Now admit this is a parody..this thread yields nothing constructive whatsoever...and not even a real Nvidiot can be so stupid and ignore the fact that both NV and ATI bring out faster cards every 6 months....now lock this thread 😉

dude, even i have a preference for nvidia, but will not deny that the X1900XTX is the best card out there now, and that X1900XT in Crossfire and the new RD580 motherboard will be one hell of a set up.

this is technology things move very fast, yes SLI is great, i have it and love it, but ATI is top dawg again. and why shouldnt it be? the 7800's were released yonks ago.....and old vs new in this game usually favours the new.

Well ATI does have an interesting new card but nVidia has had a better record of actually shipping parts. nVidia could go that route too, releasing what are essentially tech previews with golden samples, and gain a few % perceived performance but I think we'd all benefit more if it were the other way around, if ATI didn't try to jump the gun and release a product before it's time.

To ATI's credit, they're getting cards out but only time will tell if their yield is matching market demand or if they had just stockpiled a few cards for an impressive launch to satisfy some critics. Keep your fingers crossed.

What about it? It was known it would be a limited edition. If ATI had made a similar claim on parts they fell short on I'd not have mentioned it.

Yes, you are right on the part that 1900xtx doesn't win in all benchmarks; though overall it is the fastest card right at this moment.

The truth is, the only card that sweeps every other card on the market was GF1, GF2 , and 7800 gtx. But much like 7800 gtx 512 when it was released, that it had won many/most benchmarks and was said to be the fastest, this x1900xtx has done the same. Yes it loses out on low resolution, but not by much. Overall, x1900xtx is the best card as of now.

these punsk should go back to having cable outlets on their all in wonders that are geared for pansies who want to watch tv on their ATI TV program.

This guy seriously needs to get some help if he is so worked up over a FREAKING VIDEO CARD!!! Seriously, enjoy life and like others have stated read a book or do something else. There is no reason to get mad like this.

As for me I could care less who makes the card as long as it has what I need. I am leaning torward the x1900xt when it drops it price, but that may change once the new nividia cards come out.
