Alright, as some of you may have seen in a previous post...I had to go out and by a new HSF, because mine went bad. I ended up buying a Coolermaster DP5-6I31C from a computer place by campus and just got home. I decided to install it, and guess what, the damn heat sink is too big to fit on the damn chip. It's not like I bought the wrong kind...it's the motherboard's power converter (Copper wrapped loop thingy)...it gets in the way to the point that I can't properly seat the heatsink. Comparing the new one to the old one, I noticed that the new one is about 10mm wider on each side of the fan... Am I sol on this one...should I just order one of the internet?
