Thats impressive, you must be in an area with no tax. With the best prices I've seen listed it would have run me ~$230 for the whole thing, had I gotten in on those.

Still, for $300 I can't really complain since I still spent less than the device costs to build and I got all the accessories.

nope, with tax. just several coupons/% off offers and 15 in gift certs.

Woot! My final order with HP shipped. I survived the Touchpad Mayhem of 2011! ()🙂 Total damage: three 16 gb, one 32gb, and two Touchstone docks. All for less than the price of one iPad 2. All my orders were fulfilled with zero cancellation. I even received my OnSale order today. 😱

And we wonder why others couldn't get any. I know it's America but gloating sucks here.

Still have my order in, confirmed with HP small business. estimated ship date of today, not shipped, will call tomorrow.

I don't feel guilty since I bought it all for personal use. None are for resell. If I was going to resell, I would've ordered in the hundreds. Couple unit sells are not even worth the hassle.

So what are you going to do with 3 touchpads?

One 16gb is a gift for my brother-in-law. One 16gb will be used solely as digital picture album. 32gb will be used as roadtrip movie and music player for my daughter for long car rides. Last 16gb is for me to tinker and hack.

I just wish I had more time to go to a store and check...wife+kid+full time job+ school=no touchpad for me unless I can find an online store in stock. Oh well tho don't really need one, although I am admittedly jealous of all that were able to get one.

Update, my shipment JUST made it to hagerstown maryland after a 23 hours and 30 minute drive from lewisberry PA. covering a staggering distance of.... 82 miles at an amazing average speed of 3.489 MPH! 😀

Congrats to those of you who got one. My orders from HP, OnSale, and Barnes & Noble were all cancelled. Still holding out hope I snagged one of the 64GB White TouchPads from Cost Central. I saw the thread on SlickDeals a minute after it was posted and had my order in 5 minutes later. They charged my card today.

OnSale charged my card but it got cancelled...how much was white 64?

Got my second touchpad from BB today. They had it packed in a box with some air bags around it. Contrary to what other people are saying that theirs was just packed in a padded envelope.

I also got a $35 touchstone charging dock from Wally World today. Should've got another, but I'm feeling like I've blown too much cash lately.

I have my Touchpad overclocked to 1.5ghz (from 1.2ghz), and not only is it faster, but I get better battery life. Before, my Touchpad ran at a constant 1.2ghz, idle or not, now when idling it clocks down to 200mhz or something like that.

It was fast to begin with, now it flies.

mine arrived there at 11 last night, haven't heard from it since 🙁

No one who cancelled my order ever charged my cards. The 64GB was $250. My PDF library is about 30GB so I was happy to fork over another $100 for the extra 32 gee bees.

Amazon sent me a cancellation email, is even erased from my account, yet...

:\ If I get it I'll be okay..if not...

ugh, it requires a cc associated with the webos account. I was hoping to keep my address and cc# separate from this account. I guess I'll only download the homebrew apps then, oh well.

On a side note, I don't remember ever adding my address on the touchpad setup, yet it already knew where I was when I looked on the map (down to my actual house location), do they grab this info from your IP?

Nice work, I only ended up with 2... All 3 of my Onsale orders got cancelled. What I find most amazing, is the cancellations came from orders placed Sunday, and the ones I got from Circuitcity.com I ordered Monday afternoon.

I really want to score some more for some relatives... Planning to give Best Buy a try tomorrow.

Man, slickdeals is just a landfill with newbies right now asking people to check for store inventory. Coming back to anandtech is like a breathe of fresh air.

I am hoping online retailers will get some in stock so I don't have to camp out at BB. It's too early for black friday madness
