HP touchpad tablet $99

Took me a while to decide to order as reviews on this tablet are mixed and with HP dropping it ... it effectively is at EOL at time of purchase.

Half of me hopes my order goes through ... half of me hopes my order gets cancelled ... and the other half could care less.

I was just able to put it in my cart. 😕

Do you have a verizon account? Also, it may say it's "not compatible" but find the tab for "compatible devices" and you'll see the iPad1 listed - just click on that and then you'll see a red button for adding the case to your cart.

Hm, so it appears that my brother and I will be receiving 6. 3x32gb and 3x16gb, apparently he got the 32gb ones from HP Small Business when they were in stock there, and I got the 16gb ones from B&N.

I almost hope one of the orders (but not both) get cancelled. Regardless, it should be a neat toy once we get android running on it, at least.

I chatted with a rep who said they were OOS, but who knows if they really know. Do have an account but no corporate discount. Sniff, sniff. Shows $4.97 for me w/free shipping, but no way to purchase. I'll try again using your instructions above.

edit: went to http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/accessory?action=selectPhone&phoneId=5623&archetypeId=12331 and the buy button was there. So much for CSRs! Thanks Mosh!

Yeah, now my B&N order says some strange thing like:

"Unable to process order; please call xxx-xxx-xxxx..."

As I said, I didn't expect to get it.

I'm more concerned about the tablet order being canceled. Getting the tablet and no case would beat getting the case and no tablet. 🙁 I'm keeping fingers crossed for both to show.

Where did you order from?
I got a 32GB Sunday, online order - store pickup @ BB
and I also ordered one shipped free to my home that day from BB which is still "in process"

I guess the way to go was to online order from an in stock BB store since they filled those orders first.

Like I said CDW is taking orders at $99 and $150...but you will have a hard time getting through...they are taking as many orders as they can handle. The website still has them listed for the old price, but the guy said that's because they are having issues with the web servers.

Did you get through to CS on the number. I tried it and they have a system unable to handle the calls, so it mentioned to try again later.
 
I had one of each 16gb & 32gb in my cart showing in stock.
Page errored out, when I reloaded it now shows both as "call" for availability.
Getting a busy signal on their 800#....boo

Edit: 16GB now shows as Auto-notify...but only on the product page, not on the search page. Huh.

Two others are showing out of stock; I think they did that sometime yesterday. Apparently people are buying them in the hopes that they'll be able to get a price break later.
