So my 16 GB from BestBuy arrived today (scheduled for Monday so needless to say I'm ecstatic), but it came like this. Seriously, BestBuy? 
And here's how the TouchPad was laying inside diagonally
Luckily there doesn't seem to be any physical damage to the actual TouchPad box itself, but this is extremely poor effort of packaging by BestBuy :thumbsdown:

lol, that sucks. I guess Best Buy's warehouse is pissed about this and they were just throwing them into boxes. It doesn't even look lik there's any packing materials in there, either.

Just wait a while, I suspect there will be a lot of used ones resold...
A ton of them were sold to people that won't mod them, and will get frustrated by the issues.
I think the Android port is going to rock, with the system dumps from the Qualcom build, it'll happen sooner rather than later, and the developers have been hacking away with the one button nook color, so we should see an awesome port much sooner than I ever expected.
Access to the Android app store will be a big plus.
Only places other than eBay/Craigslist/Forums that are GOING to have them is HP.com within the next ??? day/week/month. Everywhere else is sold out and will NOT be getting any more... ever.

I laughed my ass over that, yeah, HP will make more of them to sell at a massive loss.
Reminds me of the time I bought a netbook from BB on Christmas day. They shipped it in the normal box and wrapped it in brown paper, nothing else.

That's nothing. My BB TouchPad didn't even get shipped in a box. It was shipped in a heavy duty poly mailer (the kind you'd ship clothes in), via UPS no less. Anyone notice random lag? Everything is patched, updated, overclocked. I'll open a browser card, browse to a website, and then it stops responding for a few seconds. If I'm typing a url, the keys that I hit while it was paused will all show up.
