Guess I'll be sitting this one out. If I could have gotten one for $100, I would have done it, but it looks like I missed the boat. There will be other deals in the future.
I bet they'll be going for $100-$150 on ebay in a few months.
apparently I have to call b&n...drats!
can't even get a spot in line to wait on hold....I just get disconnected![]()
That looks more to me like a shipping confirmation, my order was through hp academy (academic sales) also, so that might be a difference.
I really don't know. I ordered through the HP SMB site.
sent an email to b&n since the phone gives you an instant lines full message and shortly thereafter got a cancellation email.

I got an e-mail from B&N telling me my order was canceled:
Go, go onSale!

Supposedly every onSale order will be canceled. That's what I read at SD.
Yeah From what I have heard most if not ALL of onSale's orders will be canceled.
..Just got off the phone with onSale (after 50 minute wait). She told me they received orders for 100,000 units, and that they only had about 10,000 in stock. They're waiting to see if HP will ship them the rest that they need, and will be emailing everyone within 24-48 hours with a final decision.
Finally got the B&N cancellationI was hopeful since i went a while with no cancellation.

Perhaps they should consider restricting people to 1 each. I doubt that will make it so each person gets one, but it should make it a bit better.Amazon had the right idea from the start with their restriction.
Total number of units in onSale's inventory was 87. A total of 17,528 orders were placed before the listing was removed, with multiple orders of 999 units.
