A long night of hard partying brought about a session on irc.
Some how the discussion of karate kid came in to nick changing.

it's from mr. rogers'neighborhood.
there was a show where king friday, xiii, had a pet wooden bird on a stick.

it's name is actualy spelt Trogladites Aedon or Trogladytaes Aedon(the mr. rogers' website has it both ways). but i didn't know how they spelt it 'till later...i came up with Troglodytis I. Eden

in the episode i saw all the people in make-believe kept asking why king friday wouldn't get a REAl pet. i thought that was very hipocritical of them. i loved king friday's ability to make-believe on a different level than the others. also i wanted a pet wooden bird on a stick...or maybe i just want to be one.

king friday has a song about his pet wooden bird on a stick, but i don't know all the words.

Troglodytes Aedon is also the genus species comonly known as the house wren.
it's family is troglodytidea.
 
I've been using this name for a few years. I started using it because I jumped out of airplanes for the Army. I guess now it should be IJumped.
 
I grabbed 'John' before anyone else thought of it. In addition it is my first name. 😉
 
Well my email used to be borism@tomcat.ru, and tomcat means male cat (among other things) so I went with it. So far me likes it. When tomcat is taken I use tomcatru, that one is always available 🙂
 
PC_Freak comes from me being a computer geek every sense i was 11 when i got my first tandy computer (i'm 24 now). I've been addicted ever sense. So i'm a freak.

And PC_Freak was born.
 
Straight outta Ender's Game.. anyone who's read it will recognize it. It just sounded sooo cool.. then I later found out he was an actual figure in history, but blagh.. who cares😉
 
game tie fighter from awhile back has you type in pilot name to start campaign, was reading game manual and saw name of victory class star destroyer: ILLUSTRIOUS

but pilot name could only be max 8 chars
