how would you split a hotel room between 5 people?

There is nothing wrong with a pullout bed from a couch. It is perfectly fine to sleep on for a few days, even a week.

ok thats one issue.

what about the noise? 5 guys in a room? no thanks. only timei should be in the room is to sleep. Not to talk or listen to 4 other guys snore.

And then the bathroom issue?

no thanks. i will go cheaper and get a single room.

also i am willing to bet they are all single. What if (lol the fact they are willing to share a room i doubt) one of them hooks up with a girl?

fuck no. not worth the hassle. i want to relaxe and have fun. sharing a room with 4 other guys? no thanks.

I wonder if the theft rates from housekeeping staff is higher when they see a room loaded out with 10 dufflebags/suitcases for a room that's only booked out to "two" people.

I like my friends, but I don't want to cuddle with them. I'd get my own room with my own bed. I'm getting too old for the camp out style vacations.

When I share a room with 5 people, the person that has to hold the camera during the 4-way gets to pay the least.

if you or your friends cant afford your own hotel room then you dont need to be going on vacation.

oh and if you hotel finds out you are over the max for the room, expect somebody to be booted.

I have plenty of times for volleyball tournaments. Everyone was grown adults with plenty of money for their own but having constant parties is more fun.

true. i guess it depends on what kind of "vacation" one that you are having a constant party or one you want to relax and have fun with friends?

Split room evenly, and the rest of you buy dinner and drinks for the guy who ends up sleeping on the floor. Every night on the floor=One free meal at decent restaurant.

so you would sleep with another guy (assuming you are straight)?

No, I would sleep on an air mattress or even on the ground. Just saying the lack of bed is not really what I'd see as being the issue. It's scrambling to get ready in the morning, with just one bathroom. Though even that can be made to work, it just sucks for whoever has to get up super early.

Though with that said, I'd just get 2 rooms. 3 in one room and 2 in the other. Typical hotel room is about $200/night, might be able to get a deal for cheaper, let's say a really good deal for $120/night. That's $60 per person or even less for the one that has 3 people.

I wonder if the asexual guy is pretending :awe:
nah... we've known each other since we were 13. during that entire time, I've never seen him express any sexual interest in either gender (not even so much as a shy glance at a hot girl or guy walking past)

The bed is not what would be the issue, it's having the share a single bathroom for 5 people I can see being quite hectic in the morning.

As long as everyone is willing to share the bathroom, it shouldn't be bad . . .

(and if you can find a couple willing to double up in the shower, even better)

We rotated, but I usually made it a habit of bringing a girl home the first night making two people sleep on the floor or find a new room to crash in.
