How would you prepare for a 5 year prison sentence?

2. Choose most desirable country.

3. Practice up on foreign language (if needed)

4. Liquidate assets and transfer funds to foriegn country of choice.

5. GTFO

40 years? i'd disappear, they'd never find me

longest i've sat in a jail was in a county jail was a little over a month, it sucked. i read and worked out to pass time

I already speak English and French. Looks like I'd be OK until I figured what local language I needed (I assume based on which island your at). If there's tourism, they'll be English spoken - and I bet a bunch of Ozzies have been there.
