So, I have roughly $21.43 daily to eat and buy whatever I need until two weeks from today. How would you budget it?

I really want to buy that new HP 2500L color laser printer. How much would you put away this pay check in order to try and save for the printer?

Go bet it all on the ponies...

or...

Just don't eat/drink out.

If I gave you my budget for food alone, you would be left with about $100 by the end of two weeks. Per day, the maximum I'll spend in a day would be about $3.50 for food. Yep, you got it right. A Jumbo Jack or McChicken twice in a day is enough for me. Then the dollar left would be for snacks. Of course I'm not counting in the time of the month. You may want to add 50 cents to that, but you aren't female.

If I used all of the money and bought groceries, it would last me more than two months with everything I bought just for myself. It would probably last me 3 - 4 months.

I don't think you like that kind of budget. So perhaps someone else can help you here.

Cripes!!!! how can you live on just that???? :Q no fresh fruits and veggies or anything??? I get hungry just THINKING of what i want to eat today.

well i don't think u'd be all that hungry after 2 jumbo jacks at 650calories each:) add some ketchup for a few bonus calories, or even a more calorie rich sauce pack like ranch:)

Ummm.....don't you have friends or families or relatives near by? Why not leech of them for a day or two. That's what they're for when times are rough. Besides, it would be nice just to visit them anyway as execuse. :D

Dude 150 dollars is plenty
during winter break i came back to college early to work to get some money to pay for the spring semester
i lived off of 1 or 2 whoppers a day
that's 1 0r 2 dollars a day
for you, plus gas, maybe go to the supermarket for some milk and juice and you'd save yourself a lot of money

I'm a full time professional, $150 will last more than 2 weeks. You'll have to suck it up like others had mentioned. 99 cent meals at Mcdonald's, Burger King, Jack in the box comes into mind.

Fuel-15 gallons @ $1.75 ea = $26.25

That's $35 for 2 weeks. Without the gas, that's $8.75. $4.38/wk. It's possible. I've done it before. Sometimes you just have to suck it up.

Where are you getting your numbers?

I make about $240 every two weeks, and I drive a gas hog car, pay $50/mo for cable, and STILL have enough money for computer stuff.

They're called GROCERIES.

you really need to find a better paying job.

I'd take $50 and buy some nugs. Then, the next $50 goes towards beer. The last $50 would be riding on Golden Tee friday nights when I proceed to clean everyone's pockets with my skills. Find yourself up $100 or $200 and repeat the next weekend.
