How would the US theoretically react to an attempted missile by North Korea

First this a logistical question. If you were able to drop a sheet of paper in space with no forward momentum I assume it would fall then float down would not burn up and would eventually end up on the ground?

Reason I ask that is we print up a gazillion sheets mentioning a billion dollar reward for the ouster/death of Kim Jong-un with a russian signature and drop them over NK.

I find it interesting NK threatened Guam. Its debatable if their missiles can hit that target. However NK can definatly hit SK.

They threatened Guam because it is the largest concentration of US forces within range of its Musudan systems, which it has hundreds of but are also fairly long range (4000km+). The number deployed operationally is probably in the dozens.

Ordering a mass evacuation says more than Donnie's bluster. He did not give out 100% what we'll do by getting into a pissing match with Kim. In fact, one reason why Kim is doing this is because he sees a great chance that we do nothing as you say. There's more than just a few analysts and top officials that have said we can't do military option.

I sincerely doubt threat assessments by the Pentagon and Trumps statements were "prefabricated by the media".

I would not be surprised if there will be a new axis of evil including NK and Iran just because Trump really wants to bomb Iran.
