to unsdestand $rump you needs to go back to his fight with Edward Kock, “Donald Trump is one of the least likable people I have met during the 12 years that I served as mayor,” Mr. Koch wrote in one essay. “It is incomprehensible to me that for some people he has become a folk hero.”Self-preservation politicians provides a powerful incentive to remain loyal to $rump.

It will be interesting when a lot of the MAGA voters start to be impacted by medicaid/medicare cuts, loss of farming subsidies, sudden unemployment from .gov cuts, etc.. I wonder what will win between anger and cognitive dissonance.

Anger always wins but it'll be anger at the dems.

The right wing echo chamber are masters at blaming the dems for it all!

That's entirely possible.

Me, I think it'd be neat to see a repeat of R Budd Dwyer.

I will add other options, if there is something I should add.

Apparently I can't add answers :/
I go to the 2nd darkest solution: going the USSR treatment with the fragmentation of the country.

Darkest one? Yugoslavia's way: a brutal war in which the country got fragmented with a cruel war.

"He will be deemed unfit for office due to mental state"

That's the 25th Amendment, and his cabinet plus VP are the ones to pull that trigger. He is 100% safe from that ever happening, because in fact his entire cabinet and the VP are also "unfit for office due to mental state"
