is there any way for me to watch the superbowl at home with only the internet? or do i have to go the the bar?

Go to the bar, have a beer and socialize. What the fuck is a "superbowl" anyways?

I watch plenty of things via streams...but something like the Superbowl, I'd never want to watch without people around, whether it's at home or at a bar. I'd head to your local sports bar and watch it there, enjoy the experience.

local bars here suck and i would not mind watching it at home with the girlfriend and cat. also its hard for her to do homework at the bar.

I watched it streamed last year. I had to change streams 6 or 7 times because they kept getting shut down. The stream that lasted through the 2nd half of the game was in a foreign country. (But it didn't matter; decent quality video & I don't need the inane ramblings of the commentators.)

There's a program called TVUPlayer that has a bunch of free streaming channels. It might be a good place to look to see if you can find the game on. I have tried to find games on there before and failed though, but I think the superbowl might have a better chance since it's a bigger game.

directon seems to be working pretty well, a little choppy but ohwell... going to get dinner and watch second half anyway. go packers!

I just do a search on twitter for the event name. Usually takes me about a minute to find a tweet with a justin.tv link to a live stream.

You don't have a TV at all? WTF?

A lot of people don't have cable. I get my 99% of what I want from Netflix and Hulu. The only thing I'm missing is live sports and live news, both of which I can live without to save $600+ a year.

FOX is local channel, rabbit ears are enough. I can't even imagine where you have to be in US to not even have local national channels.

True. I've yet to buy rabbit ears because I the only things I would watch on local channels I just watch on Hulu at my convenience. Rabbit ears would be nice for sports and news though.

i dont have a tv thus no over air access either....
