Both #1 and #1 are extraordinarily feminine IMO. Just spray it on yourself - I wouldn't overthink this. It's just shit you spray on your so your date doesn't have to experience your natural odor.

Thanks for the helpful comments, still undecided though so would be great if more could chip in.

To those that say not to use it, I say why not? If it smells good, it has to be good right? The dude next to me at work uses it, and he smells pretty nice so I thought its something I should do.

This is how I (and, I think, most girls) put on perfume.

Do you recommend me to do this as well?

Isn't that typically how a woman applies perfume?

EDIT - I see this has already been brought up. Weeee

Even it is, maybe there's good reason to do it like that. Can't see why Men shouldn't do it that way?

I don't see how any cologne could possibly be better than my Sure Invisible Solid regular scent deodorant. Girls love it!

I shower in the morning and then spray myself twice from arms length afterwards. Being that I wear Jean Paul Gaultier's Fleur Du Male and not Brut, the scent is subtle - unobtrusive but noticeable up close - by the time I leave the house.

Basically, you always spray your chest area, but the amount of times you do so varies on how strong the cologne is. When I wear Le Male (which unfortunately but hilariously has one of the most overtly homosexual ad campaigns in history going on right now), I spray only once. Just be smart about it.

Another top cologne these days which I've purchased: Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue. Again, subtle but noticeable up close.

Just bring the bottle with you and give a light spritz under the nose of your date so you don't have to worry about whether she smells it or not.

Why do people have a hard time with the dumbest of problems. Who cares how you apply cologne? Do you think there is a magic technique to brushing your teeth too?

There is:
You squirt the toothpaste into your mouth and then brush up and down, only.

Thank you, I shall follow this from now on. Do you have any comments on putting cologne on your wrist and neck (pulse points)?

one of the worst thing is walking past a guy who bathes in the shit. when i was working one of the guys in the office would just layer it on. it was nauseating. you would see people hold there breath when he walks by.

The first time I ever bought cologne I asked the guy for usual application techniques and he offered me #2. Now that I think about it, he did seem very very gay. Also the smell is a little overpowering to myself; I always smell it when I'm just walking around so it made me kind of self-conscious about how strong the cologne smelled.

Guess I'll just spray on the chest once.

Whats the best way??

The best way is to not use it all. I don't want to smell you and nobody else does either. Covering your body odor with some foul cologne doesn't help anything and it just pisses people like myself off.

Putting cologne on your neck or armpits or other places you sweat will likely make the scent stronger than you want it to be.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to use pants? I have googled and found a few methods...

1) one leg at a time
2) Jumping into them from a great height
3) Geek Squad
