How to tell if somebody is from Canada?

Next time I go to Europe, I want to act like I'm from Canada so people don't give me flack for being American. How would I go about this?

People assume those wearing Canadian flags are 'undercover' Americans anyway in my experience.

yah right Hevnsnt.

ahem

Hold open doors for people, and use pleasantries. Show some manners. You're bound to be mistaken for a Canuck!

I wore a shirt that had an american flag on it with the text that said "The only reason I have not taken your country over, is because I don't like you"

and I had a good time.

(ok I lied about the shirt, but I did have a good time)

Funny one of the first things my wife commented on when she moved to Virginia from Montreal is how polite people here were compared to where she was from.
