I realize that many Canadians only manage to get through their day to day lives and survive their inferiority complex by believing that the rest of the world actually cares about and subsequently likes Canada, but that's just a foolish belief.

Most of the grief Americans experience is due to US Politics and not the person. So I can believe that US Tourists are seen as great, but there still exists a negative attitude towards the US that sometimes gets expressed to Americans overseas.

Are you referring to the article with no quantitative data, based on a survey funded by an American company you posted? Truth be told, when I traveled in Europe I didn't have a flag of any kind on my bag and didn't have any problems. I couldn't care less what reputation Canadian tourists (or American ones, for that matter) have.

Anyhow, I'm not going to get drawn into a debate over this, I learned long ago that there's no point in debating anything with the word "Canada" with either you or RabidMongoose. I'll be happy to discuss an electrical engineering-related topic in another thread, though.
