Women do NOT give mixed signals. They are extremely clear. You just have to know how to understand them. Know your role, and play it perfectly.

Men/Women can't just automatically dismiss 50000 years of evolution.

My tendency is to equate mixed signals with not interested, in which case I just move on.

some (many) women do send mixed signals, but like i said before confidence wins out. there isn't a stuck up woman in the world that can penetrate that armor. be interesting.... i know they say to ask about women so they can blab on and on.... but the trick is to get them wanting to blab on and on. otherwise, it's like you're taking a survey and how lame is that? be respectful, but don't be a kiss ass. be funny, but don't joke all day like some jackass. be honest, but don't scare them. letting a girl know how you feel about her speaks volumes!!!! but don't be a sissy about it and come off all needy. i always attacked from the friend zone. yes, you can get lost in the friend zone unless that's your game. it's easier to deal with a woman you have a familiarity with. most men are affected by the physical aspects of a woman, they can ruin the relationship by being a b!tch, or whatever, but you'll prolly still sleep with her a few times til that gets old. but for a woman, she can go from hot to cold for you with one conversation slip up. that's not to say you should choose your words carefully. women can feel when a guy is wallking on eggshells. you have to approach your conversation with CONFIDENCE and if you're gonna turn her off, then you're just a lame ass and need to go back to the drawing board anyways. getting good with women is like getting good with anything else in your life. practice and the confidence to try after failure. some guys just have it, true, but any guy....ANY GUY can get it.

last but not least, in the immortal words of tom cruise:

RESPECT THE COCK!
(i dunno, it just felt like the right time)

Wow. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Women give mixed signals all the time. You're confusing "mixed" with "normal" Your argument is that men should be able to decipher mixed signals by now, not that the mixed signals are coming or not.

The "I like you/No I don't game" is the oldest one in the book, and it's one the ladies play FAR better than guys.

I'm sure it's no joke. They are extremely clear, meaning that the signals are totally transparent, and therefore not easily visible. :D

Fixed

hey, i'm broke as a joke without the benefit of four years of college women at my disposal.... you get a pass on high school girls cuz some people aren't ready, but if you aren't getting laid in college then you are missing the golden opportunity to pursue women. you have an unbelievable amount of time to "research" not just women as a whole, but individual women who many of which will share the same term length as you.

anyways...... like i was saying... no bucks/mad bitches = me. women make their own cash today. the ones that are looking for cash are very blatant about it and you'll see them a mile away.

I'd just like to say that this is true. In fact, I've met a gal online just recently who was doing this same thing, and many could consider it mixed signals. Here is a sample of the type of responses I was getting (not copy paste)

"I want to go to go to this music joint downtown but I don't know anybody who will take me." Hinting me to offer to take her there, so I do.

"Oh, thats wonderful! I have no qualms about meeting people, just let me know your thoughts... So you like Jazz? I'd love to get to know Jazz better..." I know of a jazz singer at a certain spot, so I respond saying we should talk on the phone and take it from there. I give her my number and offer to call her if she'd give me her number.

"Oh, I don't know what my gut feeling is right now... I'll have to think about giving out my number to you... I'll let you know..." Bam... Stick a fork in it, that was last Tuesday. I haven't receieved an email or call since. She sounded all fine and dandy until I said lets take it from online discussion to offline and talk on the phone, then she bailed.

How can you tell if a woman is interested? You can't, tomorrow she'll change her mind.

1. run away whenever you talk to us or if we see you and we walk quickly the other way
2. give one word answers to your questions and never ask anything about you
3. after asking us 3 or more times to do something and we ALWAYS tell you we are busy and never offering an alternate date that we are free
4. tell you we are not interested. yes, we really mean it.

ok, considering how this board is full of guys and knowing how you guys LOVE to point out how us girls are always wrong and confusing and don't make sense i'm ready for the bashing!

If you aren't going to bash, contribute your own advice to all of the clueless guys out there who JUST DON'T GET IT!

The problem is that you're stuck up! Admit it - YOU KNOW YOU WANT ME BABY!!!

I actually don't care what women think an care even less to try to "understand" their little head games. I just am who I am a regular guy.

They're NOT better at the game by any means. Women are people too, and make the EXACT same mistakes as men. The problem (used loosely) with the game is how it works...

Women have it, and guys have to get it.

So the responsibility falls on the guy because he has to learn to be aggressive, and women can get away with being passive, meaning they have the luxury/time to pick up on small signals.

It can be fun though :p

Too many rules. All I know is No means Maybe and Yes means Faster! It's worked well thus far.

I'd agree, there is no problem, per se, with how the game works. I've never found myself unhappy with my love life so I'm clearly on the right track.

Women get their little headgames and the ability to let the guy do all the work in courting. Men get to make more money for doing the same job and still rule 98% of the world. It all works out.
