Well, that looks like a great idea. I wouldn't even be able to drive a Formula 1 car. Much respect for someone who can do that AND on snow nonetheless.

Why not? It has an accelerator, brake, steering wheel, and gear change mechanism just like any other vehicle since the 1800s.

Afaik, being able to drive an F1 is a learned skill. Keeping the tires at the right temp, and all manner of other little things are a constant hassle. The video of Richard Hammond trying it is pretty telling.

Driving it and getting the most out of it on a race track is one thing. Getting in, turning it on, and pulling out of a driveway and 5 miles down to the grocery story is entirely another 🙂 Assuming you don't overheat and melt it sitting at the first stop light.

Lewis gets disqualified and Trulli gets 3rd place back. WTF. I'm not a Lewis fan, I'm an F1 fan and I'm sick of the stewards running the race.

Hamilton also passed Vettel under the SC.
I thought he had passed Trulli, but I wasn't sure, so I didn't say anything in that other thread.
I definitely saw him pass Vettel, and Vettel was not off the track.
But this is really why the back and forth happened:
