i need some help making something very complex and technical, give me an idea
 
Or pick up the book called "Audio Power Amplifier Design" by Douglas Self. Excellent book on amplifier design with ultra-low THD. Covers everything from power supplies to protection to input/vas/output stage, sources of noise. I have that book and it is an EXCELLENT book. If I had some free time, I'd build a couple of his designs.

You should make a railgun.

There are support groups and designs to be had all over the internet, go take a look.
 
get a huge (multi-farad) capacitor, and find a sports ball, (i.e. volleyball, etc..) that would fit it nicely. While uncharged, secure the cap inside the ball, and also attach about 50 pieces of wire to each of the 2 posts. the other ends of these wires should be soldered to screws which are screwed into the ball from the outside. Make sure to make 2 leads accessible so that you can charge the cap from outside of the ball. You should now have a giant studded ball of death. Charge it, (wearing thick ass rubber gloves) from your ac outlet, or whatever, depending on its voltage requirements. Proceed to throw the ball at small animals, postal workers, etc., and marvel at the way it pops and cracks when it shocks the hell out of them! Ahem.

AC won't charge a cap... you need DC. and that is a really stupid thing to do.
 
Yup, you'll need a power inverter if you want to charge one from your AC outlet. BTW, for the idiots out there, StingerElectronics.com sells 5F :Q capacitors.

CTho9305: I can not believe I just folowed all those links and came upon the file 747.avi I spent 45 seconds downloading a file, that didn't even show that 747 take off. For 25 megs I thought it would be good 😀

ROFLMAO!!!! (i seriously burst out laughing) i'm really sorry.... I was having poor results with divx, so I just set the bitrate to really-really-high, and was disappointed with the filesize. if you zip it it gets compressed to 9meg. I once made a video that required more bandwidth than my hard drive could provide, and couldn't view it on anything slower than a cheeta x15 scsi drive. oops. i'm working on it 😉

Nah, it's even better: you can put the cursor in the address bar and press enter, or press F6 and then Enter. Goes much faster than cut & paste 🙂
