the only thing that bothered me about these images (aside from the egg images) is the way that this guy cooked the frigging meat. such a tragedy :( you're supposed to put that fresh meat on a grill... not fry it in a pan :(

Whats wrong with frying it? It takes just as good, just different than a grill.

the grill is the only way to cook a beef or pork steak and serve it justice...

Try this...not all meats must be cooked on a grill

Yeah, see what happens when you grill beef cut from the round.

Only in the states my friend. Everywhere else steak is expected to be fried with a bit of oil or butter, I have only seen steaks being grilled in the US, not in Europe not anywhere.

i have no idea why...

meat on fire = essential food of man... that's why it tastes so good. we taste the flame-kissed meat fibers and our primitive brain centers pick up the ancestral marker of goodness... that's why it tastes so damn good whenever you grill meat.

it's like chicken... yeah, there's rotisserie chicken and fried chicken, but no chicken's as good as whenever it's straight off the grill (except for maybe whenever it's a little lightly salted and grilled).

May not be convincing but still sends a good message. I think everyone who eats meat should hunt at least a few times in their life. There are some who claim to love animals and never want to hurt them, yet eat meat like it grows on trees. It takes pointing a large calibur rifle at a deer and blowing its heart out, then getting your arm shoulder-deep in blood while gutting it, to realize what you are doing when you eat meat.

the site is operated by a vegan... i think in their own twisted way the slaughter and delicious looking steak is a way to try to turn us normal folk into vegans

At first I thought they were showing balut eggs, but thats a little too developed for me.

Anyway, I don't really have a problem with it. I've killed chickens before and probably wouldn't mind a butchering a cow/pig. Maybe skip the organs because of the smell.

EDIT: I just noticed, but that website has steak and pork cutlet everyday! Every time, its "tomorrow we're having...." I'm envious.

I don't get what this site's point is. "Don't eat meat because killing them is gross"? Do they think wolves and lions and the like somehow magically transport the blood and guts to some alternate dimension before digging in?

There's a lot of problems with how food animals are treated, but how they're butchered isn't one of them.

Yeah, I pretty much agree, after their dead who cares how gross it looks, thats what we all look like on the inside. It is true that the raising of animals is prett bad, especially stuff like veal, they are just mistreated worse then you can possibly imagine. But on the other hand, I don't really find myself carring enough to stop it, they only cows and such, sux for them.

Not to be too picky, but the lungs are a better shot. (And, the heart is edible.)

How the heck is Mumu on that site only 13 months old? Looks like she's had a calf (the udder) I'd estimate Mumu to be closer to 4 or 5 years old.

NSFW because of graphic cow gore
No, you aren't an evil person. You can't eat it alive. Killing it first is a fact of life....or death I should say.

I was wondering that myself.

Man, a steak would be good right now.
