I found this link somewhere, and I scrolled through without being grossed out. Then I get to the bottom, and find out that it is animal rights propaganda. Am I an evil person because I do not find this completely repulsive?

NSFW because of graphic cow gore

Yeah, I was wondering about that. Are steaks in restaurants often cooked that way? Or are they usually pan seared and grilled?

Yeah... what kind of weirdo fries a steak? Sure, it probably still tastes decent, but why would you want to add those extra calories for no good reason?

Damn vegans don't know how to cook anything worth eating :)

The gore wouldn't/didn't bother me. Just seems like a hell of a lot of work for food. However that fried steak sure looked tasty.

The only nasty part was the stomach content.

Yeah, but consider how much meat a cow contains.

If it's animal rights propaganda, it's not very well done. Man, that Ruth's Chris thread and now this. I could go for some steak.

wait....you mean animal rights actually stood there watching them kill a cow? It'd be funny if funny if they had someone in the irghts group do the killing and the cooking.

Fried stake tastes much better than BBQ stake, especially when it's done with more ingredients like herbs and whatnot.

<------------Eats only fried stake.

I can understand fried steak, but the end result of the method shown looks pathetic. When I first saw the pics, I thought it was cooked in a non-stick pan or something.

the only thing that bothered me about these images (aside from the egg images) is the way that this guy cooked the frigging meat. such a tragedy :( you're supposed to put that fresh meat on a grill... not fry it in a pan :(

Whats wrong with frying it? It takes just as good, just different than a grill.

the grill is the only way to cook a beef or pork steak and serve it justice...
