Oust will do. I shared a fridge with other students once and it smell so foul but I spray oust into it and all the smell's gone. highly recommended.

Speak with his manager or HR. You could try speaking with him, but sometimes it might be better to have someone above him speak to him regarding such an issue.

So this guy has been wanting some help on an application that he is just starting out. He is not an everyday coworker but has been stopping by lately just asking questions to me and some of the other developers

The problem is this guy smells like a$$ and feet.........

Most of us have been trying to avoid him when he comes around because it is so strong.

No kidding this guy leaves a trail that lingers.

How do you tell someone they smell?

This is everyday not just a one day, party all night no time for a shower workday.
I have told a couple of people who came to my house to either clean up the smell or they would not be welcomed in my house anymore.

Just tell him, like a man would. Hey dude I don't know if you are aware of this but you have a serious odor problem. The coworkers in the office have all noticed it and some are actively trying to avoid you because of this. Somebody has to-- it may as well be you.

I dunno. I have a coworker with awful-smelling breath. I've never said anything, but I can smell it from about 10 feet away.

There's a medical condition that I can't recall the name of which causes clean people to stink. I don't know if there's treatment for it, but he may be aware of the problem, but unable to do anything about it.

this is my concern but can we be held to work with this?

no joke it is overpowering stink that just makes you want to vomit.

The condition you're thinking of actually makes the person smell like dead fish. This sounds completely different

Damn, now I feel bad for making fun of a person with a medical condition. I almost threw up on some chick's box in the back of my suburban in high school.

"I don't want to say you smell bad, but, um, remember that scene in Armageddon when Bruce Willis sacrifices his life to blow up the asteroid? yeaah.....we all wish that was you instead."
