How to inform a coworker that they smell bad

So this guy has been wanting some help on an application that he is just starting out. He is not an everyday coworker but has been stopping by lately just asking questions to me and some of the other developers

The problem is this guy smells like a$$ and feet.........

Most of us have been trying to avoid him when he comes around because it is so strong.

No kidding this guy leaves a trail that lingers.

How do you tell someone they smell?

This is everyday not just a one day, party all night no time for a shower workday.

There's a medical condition that I can't recall the name of which causes clean people to stink. I don't know if there's treatment for it, but he may be aware of the problem, but unable to do anything about it.

Actually it's ass, feet, and hot garbage.
I work with Fish and the shit is nasty!
It's straight up funk. We came back from lunch and we could tell he was in our office because his smell was lingering.
I get mad everytime he comes by because he stinks so bad.
On top of that he's got an asshole attitude.

He could wear some car air fresheners around his neck. Piña Colada usually smells good.

this is my concern but can we be held to work with this?

no joke it is overpowering stink that just makes you want to vomit.

there was a guy like this at my gym. you cuold smell him from like 30 feet away, straight up onions and assholes.

i said somethign to the people at the gym and he said 'yea we can't say anything to him unless we have written complaints from members otherwise they can call it harassment. we have had people ask us about him before and know he smells.'

so myself and like 3-4 other guys i lift weights with wrote little notes that day and left them at the front.

i haven't seen the guy since.

We once left a gift basket of various soaps, deodorant, hair stuff on this guys car as a "Hey, you smell like ass" notification. That didn't do a thing. Then we got this temp worker in who he must have been attracted to because he shaved, showered, and dressed fairly well for factory work.

That lasted about a month.

I used to have to work with a guy in a board repair lab that consistantly smelled like ass. One day one of the less PC managers came down, and something like "What the hell smells like shit down here?". Everyone just kind of sheepishly looked toward Mr. Hanky pants. He still never got a clue though, and remained as smelly as ever.
