I think there's a product that gets rid of bad smells. You just have to spray it on the offending surface. Of course it'd help greatly if you get rid of the source of smell. You can also try burning some nice smelling candles, incense, use air freshner, air the room...

:)

Buy some Glade plug-in fresheners - the kind that use scented oil, not the other. My grandmother has two very furry (and "aromatic") dogs in a tiny little house, but there's absolutely no animal smell because she keeps at least one plug-in in every room. You may also want to use some Lysol and clean off the major surfaces of the room (heck, give your mattress a good shot with it, too).

Scneted candles are a hit with my GF. She really likes the French Vanilla. You could also go for the Xmas scents like Cinnamon/Apple. Also spray cologne anywhere on the carpet for temporary relief.....just make sure you don't spray too much and make sure it's the same cologne you're wearing (if any). ;)

<< ok..well.. my room smells like dirty clothes.. first step is to put all the dirty clothes into a basket in the closet.. perhaps wash em too.. but whats a good way to get rid of the smell? im gonna open my window.. but its damn cold outside >>

ummmm vaporize some strong smelling solvent in room such as carburetor cleaner? It has an ethereal sweetish odor..

LOL... Its extremely flammable by the way.

possible you have a dead mouse trapped in your drywall?

they have a indescribable stink that eventually (months later) fades away as the carcass dessicates.

this is possible even if your personal hygiene if impeccable. particularly when cold weather moves in, the critters
like to get into warm areas (move indoors).
