The bad thing about the Do Not Call list is that you have to be certain to answer the phone when they call to verify the number.

edit, get rid of the land line. Don't answer the cell unless you know them. Otherwise wait for the VM.

quoted for bad information. If you don't answer they will typically keep calling. Better to just pick it up and tell them to add you to the do not call list.

DNC list is great. My family signed up when it first started and pretty much all calls went away.
