Well, we knew each other for 5 years (I roomed with her brother in college). Over the years, we started hanging out more and more, doing more things together, talking a lot, etc. I spent a lot of time at their parents house and got to know their family and mom/dad very well. I began developing feelings other than "friendly" towards her, but was afraid to act on them for fear of getting beat down by her brother😉 But everything change one night last year when she told me how she felt about me and I told her how I felt about her...and here we are a year later.
