That's a rather arrogant response. :roll: Perhaps for your situation it is, but for those of us who have a combined device(modem & router together) it may not be. From the tech support that I've had to do with my provider, changing the unit(and thus the MAC) necessitated a change in the IP issued. Now, perhaps that's just how my ISP(TDS Metrocom) chose to do it, but that's no fault of mine.
