ever really looked at the anatomy of a giraffe? I'm no expert, but I know enough that they have a super strong heart in order to be able to pump blood up their long neck to their brain. The thing is, when it bends down to drink water, the heart is strong enough to pump blood right out the top of its head. So they have some special muscle that stops the flow when they bend down. They also have some storage system for the blood while that valve is closed. From what I know, they are the only animals that have anything close to that.

Too many perfect pieces exist to the puzzle for there not to be a Grand Creator.

 i cant tell if this is a troll post or not

I'm way too old to troll. Just stating a fact.

Why couldnt a giraffe like animal with a much smaller neck gradually develop larger and larger vascualr smooth muscle as its hemodynamic needs changed? It doesnt have to be a sudden change

It's a waste of time to argue with people who use the world of make believe to support their ideas. Religion and Science exist within two completely different paradigms that have no common ground.

well, they do. Science, essentially, is an offshoot of religious thought. The grounds for understanding are completely different, however. Truth through investigation and testing, rather than assumption.

The bolded part above is your opinion, and not a fact.

It could be restated as: "I don't understand how this could have come about without a Grand Creator, so I believe there is a Grand Creator." It's a rehash of the old argument that the universe is supposedly so complex that it could not have come about without the efforts of some deity.

If that's what you believe, then that's fine. However, DO NOT STATE THIS AS FACT. Because it is not.

Everything but your last sentence is fact. That is merely speculative assumption, that has no place in science.

Seriously....I am someone who is religious and don't believe that religion and science conflict, but this is just sheer speculation. I could easily say the same thing about bananas...

"Look at their shape. It's diameter is easily made to fit in a human hand. Its yellow color grabs out attention out in the wild. It is even curved towards the human head. Its just too much! I believe that that there has to be some kind of grand creator for this. From what I know, its the only fruit that has anything close to what I just described"

I suppose if you don't understand how evolution, mutation, natural selection, competition, survival of the fittest, etc. works, you have to default to something...

Life wouldn't get very far if everything consisted of imperfect pieces.

Science and Religion exist as complements of one another. Science helps us describe what we can measure and what exists within our realm. Religion helps make us aware of realms that we will never able to describe.

Too bad the grand creator made so many imperfect fruit. Or maybe the curved fruit is a sign that He wanted us to only eat bananas. Only those with compact stool will be allowed through the gates of heaven!

Life is an amalgamation of imperfect pieces.

Evolution, Mutation, Natural Selection, Competition do nothing to explain how everything started. It explains how things change, diverge, compete and develop. Perhaps you are not understanding something?

you're gunna get it for posting that

the funny thing is that all these pieces are incredibly imperfect. WAAAAAAAy to imperfect for there to be a creator. Every evolved creatures genes include a whole lot of useless crap.

Well I would argue that useless crap is incredibly important.

Imperfect creations does not imply that there is no creator.

I think that the shape of the banana is incontrovertible proof that God intended the fruit for human....gratification.

same with the Zuchinni, Cucumber, Yucca....and even the Durian (in certain circles )

No I saw it. I was just running through a thought experiment on why bananas were shaped that way by the creator, and explain how I should shape my life based on those thoughts.

You better jump on the hard stool bandwagon too, less you get sent to the pits of hell.

I understand it just fine. Abiogenesis is a well thought out hypothesis of how "life" started. There are plenty of books written by some really smart people, you should check them out.
