How small can it be without most girls becoming disappointed?

I would say its more of the thought that counts, as long as its gold, and good looking go for it, if she questions smile and tell her the big one comes when she says "I Do". if she loves you, she should care about the size of the dimond.

I REALLY like this idea. Without the 6-8 months salary. A girl once told me her ring had to be at least 12k. I dumped her ass in a heartbeat.
