How should I treat this infected cut?

I'm an RN so ill weigh in here. If you are not sensitive or allergic to ibuprofen, take 1 tablet three times a day. Try to keep your arm elevated as much as you can above the level your heart. The compresses should be done like this: run as warm water that is comfortable over a wash rag then lightly squeeze it out, place the rag over the site and loosely wrap some saran wrap over it then place a heating pad over that turned on medium heat. Do that for about 30-40 minutes three times a day. Any signs of reddness extending up the arm in a line, see your Dr. immediately. The pic does appear to definately be a spider bite.
