How rare is it for caucasians to have brown eyes?

I still don't make a difference between hazel and brown... they're both nuances of the same colour.

Speaking of eyes, I've seen a girl with golden eyes once - and since we were at a nude beach, I'm prety sure she had no contacts. Other interesting people that come to mind were another girl who changed her eye colour from light brown to emerald green, according to her mood, and my SO, whose eyes are such dark brown, it's almost impossible to differentiate the pupil from the iris (and that IS a bit disturbing...)

not sure how it worked out... my mom and sister both have light blue eyes and my dad has brown eyes.

Well... in most cases that means he's not your son. However eye color is actually a lot more complicated than the OP makes it out to be and it IS certainly possible for brown eyed parents to have a blue eyed offspring.

Are you referring to me as a hypocrite? Makes no sense, since it is fact that 2 blue eyed people cannot have a brown eyed child and 2 brown eye people can have a blue eyed child.

Really? It is the opposite for me, it seems every single caucasian I meet has either blue or green/hazel eyes. I find it really rare for caucasians to have brown eyes.
