2001 Honda Accord (totalled my 2000 Accord)
$240/month or $1440 / 6 months.

High price because of a wreck which was my fault, a speeding ticket before that, and a ticket from the accident. I also live in California.

Check this difference out, I just moved from NJ to VA

Age: 21
Violations: 1 in NJ (Improper passing on the left - 0 points)
Car: 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS DOHC
Insurance in NJ: ~$750.00 for 6 months (did not include the ticket violation because they never picked up on it, dunno why) - This is for comprehensive, and liability... No collision

Insurance in VA: ~$300.00 for 6 months (includes 10% Renter's Insurance discount because I have both, and a good student discount) - Same coverage, no collision

Insurance in VA if I buy a new Acura TL Type S : ~$1000.00 for 6 months (including collision) ...

Definitely one of the major advantages of moving :)

No-fault insurance(PLPD)
$50/month

BTW, I was paying $50/month at one point for full coverage, but now I have 5 points on my record and it jumped, so I changed it to PLPD.

1988 Honda Accord LX-i
~$260/6 months :)

Of course, that's just my daily driver, it costs me $128/month to insure my 1976 Porsche 914 during the sumer, but only $15/month during winter storage. I get insurance through State Farm and they only require that I carry the "youthful" (read: expensive) coverage on one car, which is the Porsche. Because of that, insurance on the Accord is no more for me than it would be for a middle aged guy. Also, because the Porsche is stored all winter, it is cheaper for me to insure both the Porsche and the Honda than it was to insure just the Honda. (Honda used to be ~$675/6 months.)

EDIT: All insurance is comprehensive, except for the storage insurance on the Porsche in winter.

For the two vehicles that I drive, I pay the insurance for only one of them. My 1989 Chevy Silverado's insurance is paid for by the folks (god bless em'). I pay the insurance for my '02 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, which is my fun vehicle.

Age: 17
Monthly insurance payment: $24
Coverage: full w/ $500 deductible (hey the danged plastic is worth somewhere around $500 to replace)
Tickets: none (I wonder how that could be?)
