Didn't see this...is this correct? How do you know that they update every Wednesday?

BECAUSE, I happen to own a copy of Norton AV Corporate Edition, and have gotten updates two, sometimes three days in a row....

I said Wednesday in my post too... this is what our security guy tells me and he pretty much did this sorta thing since before Norton was around... he should know their schedule. 🙂 I think Norton makes it a habit to provide an updated list every Wednesday and even more often if critical issues arise. Makes sense to me...

Every weekday when Symantec releases Intelligent Updater packs using the script. Typically they make updates available via LiveUpdate every Wednesday whereas IU updates are every weekday.

I have never used virus protection, and never had a virus.😀

We have NAV corporate running on Enterprise. Everything runs on autopilot here. Never a problem. The Administration keeps up on security.

sitting somewhere in the bundle of cds somewhere.

didnt install it, if i get infected by a virus, i would reformat. that being said, as long as you dont open anything suspicous in your email, and download crap executables, your chance of getting one is very low.
