How often do you(or should you) wash your sheets?

I was just reading a thread based on showering AM vs PM and it reminded me of a question I've always had. How often should you wash your sheets??? Ex. Girlfriends always had different opinions on this, and since I rarely ever date "normal" women, I thought I'd get y'alls opinion.

Whoa....how long do YOU wait Haze??? Yeah..unless your REALLY anal about it, once every two weeks, but i like to wash them more if I or my boyfriend has a cold or flu, that way, all the germs are washed out.

it sucks being in college cause my mom can't wash my sheets.... i do it myswelf like once every 5-6 weeks(sooner if i end up pucking on them), and by then they're reaking pretty bad.

Alright...So to recap....

Single guys....The sheets need stains or the ability to walk.

Married men(or living at home)...2 weeks....

Sounds good...So anywhere between 2 weeks and walking...Got it.

Well Princess, I never really had a timetable before. I'd usually wait until they smelled, felt dirty, or I planned on having company...

i change them weekly, then wash them when ever i do laundry. Which is about every two weeks. I usually do laundry in the laundry mat cause i do 8 loads at a time.

The secret is to have several sets so you can change them without washing them right away!

When I was living with my girlfriend I changed my sheets every week.

Now that I don't live with her and she doesn't sleep in my bed anymore I have no idea how often I change them.

I'm single but I still wash mine weekly, clean sheets feel nice to sleep on.
