how often do you open notepad.exe and calc.exe

Win+R is my friend. I just checked and cmd was the last thing I used it for. Calc was right before that. My Microsoft keyboard at home has a calc button 😀

I've slowly moved to wordpad for the formatting options

Notepad added to my quicklaunch because of the amount of times I need a very small text file saved, and because VERY frequently I need to unformat a block of text for some reason or another.

Calculator very seldom. Probably only when doing bills once or twice a month.

Edit: Also, because notepad is excellent for creating small scripts, css inserts, html modifications, and the like.

I never use Notepad. I use a good text editor (EditPlus http://www.editplus.com ). I use calculator occasionally, but I have it in my quick launch bar.
