how often do you open notepad.exe and calc.exe

Win+R is my friend. I just checked and cmd was the last thing I used it for. Calc was right before that. My Microsoft keyboard at home has a calc button 😀

calculator maybe once or twice just because there is a button on my keyboard and it's easier than grabbing a real calculator. Notepad probably not even once.

same here, the calculator button on the keyboard rocks.

Notepad added to my quicklaunch because of the amount of times I need a very small text file saved, and because VERY frequently I need to unformat a block of text for some reason or another.

Calculator very seldom. Probably only when doing bills once or twice a month.

Edit: Also, because notepad is excellent for creating small scripts, css inserts, html modifications, and the like.

I use them fairly often. I even have a text editor on my PC at home, but for quick things I use notepad.

I also use mspaint pretty often as well.

I'm a vim/gvim slut, and tried to switch to it for all my quick notes and such... but somehow I just can't quit Notepad
