how often do you open notepad.exe and calc.exe

At least 5 times a day for each. I use notepad a lot cuz word 2007 is so slow and crappy. Calc is always opened as I use it all the time.
 
I have a sidebar gadget for calculator, and I use stickynotes for a quick notepad. Don't have to open anything 🙂

Vista is growing on me.
 
I do quick calculations in spotlight a half dozen times per day, but have given up writing notes on my dashboard.

I never knew that shortcut, awesome! I use notepad ALL day at work rather than writing down crap on sheets or scraps of paper like others around me do. I usually break out the calc every couple of days when needing to figure something quickly.

there are so many Win+x shortcuts i use all the time.
notepad I use daily, calc every now and then
 
Notepad I don't use too often, but calc I use all the time. My keyboard even has a "special calculator key" built into it...😀
 
i use calc and notepad++ many times a day

i used to use notepad but its only two extra characters to open notepad++

i leave notepadd++ open all the time at work. calc gets used multiple times a day as well.
 
I have almost everything set to open in Notepad by default. It is great to have something load instantly and give me just the bare minimum. For example, notepad never saves formatting crap.

I've only used the calculator once in the last 5 years or so. I use Excel or Mathcad for math.
 
I have a notes.txt tucked away that I use the quicklaunch to shortcut run... works great for me.

'calc' I use at the run command all the time...
 
notepad once per day at work. (i bring a laptop, so I shut it down at the end of the day and stick it in the bag) ... then, when I boot up and log into the PC, I have notepad autostart ...

calc I don't use all that often, simple calculations I'll do in my head ... more complicated I have gotten lazy and just entered the equation right into google ...
