How often do you goto Costco just to graze the free samples?

My gym is like a mile from Costco.

so whenever it's a weights day (as opposed to cardio), i graze.
so 2x/week.

/obligatory I dont have a costcos membership

This reminds me of a time at a furniture store which served absolutely delicious sugar cookies and choc chip cookies. They weren't just good, but absolutely amazing- freshly baked on premise.

My mom and I would visit just to pretend we're shopping and eat those up. They also had those popcorn machines too.

Oh man, that takes me back when I was in HS.

No because I'm a) not a bum and b) no way I'm fighting those crowds just to sample a Dixie cup's worth of cereal.

If my mom is going to BJs (same as Costcos), I come along and take all the free food.

(I'm a high schooler)

If my mom and I like the sample, we usually buy the food that we tried

If you have a nearby H-Mart, now THEY have amazing nonstop Asian street-food goodness samples all over the place.

Mmm....... Korean BBQ pieces, Seafood pancakes, spicy rice cakes, dumplings, ramen samples.

All those beat American samples at BJ/Costco.

never,

the closest costco to me is 90 miles away in another country

actually the 20 closest costcos to me are all in another country between 90 and 150 miles away

I wish they'd put them all in one area so they don't block up the aisles so much. I also wish people would tie up their children, and I wish all the old people were in a giant hole.

I'm not allowed to eat found food.

same, it's just usually 2-3 things and into the long lines ( at least they use all the lines and try to move people as fast as they can ).

hmm the one in dallas doesn't seem to have much of that... or i'm confusing it with some other asian market

Never. I'm not a savage.
$50 fee entitles me to the free samples bro 😛

I've got better things to do. We went and picked up 8 items we needed, and had 1 sample.
guess you dont like the samples?

too bad the only reason im near there is for the korean restaurant

No, I come to shop. if a sample looks tasty and I might buy the product and nobody is standing around and there is a sample ready to take, then I may try it. I don't go there to graze.

same.

IF i am there i get everything if they look good. IF i am hungry i go to the food court area. $1.50 for a huge hot dog or $2 for a huge slice of pizza?

I collect all the samples and feed my family twice a week this way. I beg at gas stations on Sundays, freeway offramps during rush hour, I sell roses at clubs on Saturday nights, and I collect cans the rest of my time.

Costco saved my life.
