How often do you goto Costco just to graze the free samples?

LOL!
This thread reminds me of the "OMG, Ramen is SOOoooo expensive now!" threads from the late '00's!

Ramen is like 75 cents each here. It amuses me. Not because I'd buy it but because I remember in college only buying it when it was 12 for a dollar.

hello bottled water part deux!

This reminds me of a time at a furniture store which served absolutely delicious sugar cookies and choc chip cookies. They weren't just good, but absolutely amazing- freshly baked on premise.

My mom and I would visit just to pretend we're shopping and eat those up. They also had those popcorn machines too.

Oh man, that takes me back when I was in HS.

Oh Mor Furniture has that with the cookies, popcorn, and soda.

I would love if we had a Costco. I hear it's a pretty awesome store. There's one in a city 3 hours away though, but never been to it.

I think some of you's guys have family reunions at costco and hover like fly's around the sample stands.

/obligatory I dont have a costcos membership

How did you get inside? I went to Costco's with a friend who is a member. I went inside about 15 seconds after he did because I was wrapping up a phone call outside. I got about 30 steps in the store, when somebody grabbed my shoulder and asked if I had a membership card. When I said no, another guy came out and they both physically escorted from the building. I was however able to walk in via the exit.

wtf???

the first time i just said i don't have a membership, they say go through the exit to customer service and get a temp pass.

you can also say you're using the pharmacy and you sign in at customer service.

They probably thought you were a terrorist.

No I don't because every Costco within 50 miles is packed all the time. Only go when I need something since it sucks to find parking and just to buy one little thing.

It was very jarring. They were a bit rough when walking me out too. Probably just some douche enjoying his little bit of power.

Costco Police. Or C.P.D. for short. "THIS IS CPD! FREEZE! YOU'RE UNDER ARREST! DROP THE SHOPPING BASKET AND PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD!" Has a nice ring to it, actually.

the costco in Fremont is full of Indians and Chinese people so the lines for free stuff run 30 people deep. I go to the one in Gilroy now and its pretty much empty the entire time.
