How often do you exercise?

Either play 3 games of raquetball (1 hour) or swim a mile for lunch (5 days a week).
During Fall/Winter/Spring I play hockey at least once a week. Sometime soon I might start running on a regular basis, just have not got the time. Also coach little league baseball during the spring/summer. I am a coach who gets active with the kids.
Not in the greatest shape, but I am reasonably fit for a male of 40+ years of age.

I'll probably end up dead from running so hard because I'll run until I get dizzy or my arm/face goes numb. Usually I feel like puking but I don't.

I'm not someone who is genetically big so I have to work extremely hard to get the way I like to look.

There's a difference between working yourself to the edge for improvements and just trying to stay in shape/keep relatively fit. If someone just goes out for a jog a few times a week, that's more than most people get.

Though, from the looks of the poll, it seems people here are probably being very lax about what they consider to be exercise.

Damn....I wish I could swim a mile.

Daily visits to the gym after work to do weights/treadmill/elliptical, but may skip a day due to unforseen circumstances (forgot shorts, shoes, etc.)

So 3-4 times a week.

used to go everyday. then i stopped.

i wonder how many of those who are 5+ a week are those who are doing it for PE

I'm 32. No PE for me.

I'm almost 27. No PE for me either. Although I wish I had done more work in PE when I had it in middle/high school. To be so lucky to "have" to do something active everyday really is a good thing. 🙁

I train 4 days a week, 2 on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off.

If I try training anymore, I become overtrained and not only is it counter productive, I get injured and/or sick.

If you're a hard gainer and want size, overtraining is the surest way to stay small.

I typically lift weights 5 days a week in the mornings. After work I usually walk my dog 2+ miles or ride my bike 10-30 miles.

I've only been lifting for about a year, so as a n00b I have a question -

My 5 day workouts generally work a different muscle group each day for about an hour:
Monday - biceps and chest
Tuesday - legs
Wednesday - back
Thursday - legs (different exercises than Tuesday)
Friday - triceps and shoulders

My main goal is to increase my size, and I'm doing all the supporting stuff (eating right, getting plenty of sleep, etc.) Also, in the evenings I get a little cardio exercise. Would you consider this to be overtraining?

It depends on you and your age. If you're young, and not seeing signs of overtraining, than sure, it's great. If you're seeing gains I would stick with it. If not, you may want to change it.

I run/walk 40-80 minutes a day. I run as long as I can and then walk until I can run some more. Started doing it 3 weeks ago and still going strong, 7 days a week. Heres to getting back into soccer shape.

I typically goto the gym 3-4 days a week after work, do 20-30 min of cardio, then lift weights. On the weekend i play disc golf, and i'm trying to start play tennis more.

26 year old here- Every week I workout (mostly arms/abs) 3 times max for 25-30 mins (I've been working out maybe since I was 8 yrs old back when Hulk Hogan was my hero).
Joined a basketball team last year, so I play 1 or 2x a week for 2-4 hrs per game.
Very often ride my bike or scooter to a train station on my way to work (varies from 20-90 mins, depending on where I'm going).
Those are my regular exercise-activites, once in a while I also play tennis, go for a short 10 min jog in a nearby park coming back from work. Some bowling too, but doesn't everyone?
Also drink protein shakes after my workout, and take a multivitamin pill every day. Not sure how effective they are, but figured they couldn't hurt, especially since I'm a vegetarain who's not great at cooking and has trouble finding places to eat out.

every single day. I'm not running 7 days a week right now because I'm still recovering from an injury, but on the days I don't run, I lift and do core exercises. When I'm in season and not injured, I run about 8-16 miles every day, and do core exercises 5-6 times a week.

Weight-lifting 3-4 times a week.
Soccer once a week.
Racquetball 2-3 times a week.

I used to run a couple of times a week but I have to quit that due not being able to handle all that activity. I also played in football league last year, but that was in the winter, when there was no soccer.
