How often do you exercise?

I'm talking about physically getting up and going jogging, lifting weights, playing a sport that involves running, etc - basically, anything that involves getting your heart pumping in its target range for at least 20 minutes. Exercise does not include parking your car at the end of the lot so you have to walk a little further to get to the door.

If you have a job involving manual labor which meets the previous criteria, that also counts. No, that doesn't include carrying paper to the copy machine.

Edit: Masturbation is not an exercise. If jacking off to an airbrushed porn model is actually a workout for you, I humbly suggest that you throw away your computer and go outside. As an added benefit, you will no longer be able to post here.

Does walking 18 holes count? With a bag strapped to my back?

It all depends on what season it is for me - golf or hockey.

edit: i also have to ask if sex counts... feels like one hell of a workout to me. OMGWTFTMI

I bike a few times a week. I think I've done about 37 miles in the last week. It's not very far, but I think that counts. That was 3 short rides.

 that's a lot of miles

I have a hard time believing that walking between holes carrying a bag really gets your heart pumping, but if it does, then I suppose it counts.

twice a week I either bike ride, play frisbee/ultimate frisbee, or play tennis. I need to ride more, or at least consistently more to get rid of some of these extra pounds. It's either that or eat better but I prefer to exercise 😉

No, the heart is not 'pumping' per se. Only on the Tiger Woods shots (thump-thump, thump-thump). If you've played the game then you know what I mean. 😉

once or twice a week... weekly hockey (2 teams) and basic weights for the upper body (dumbbells and universal machine bench press).

pushups, situps and jumping jacks every morning for 45 minutes.

it might not qualify as exercise compared to what some of you do, but it's all i have time for right now.

I prolly ride 7+ miles a day on the bike. But thats with a bigass messanger bag which usually holds my laptop, change of shoes, gym clothes and bike tools.
Some days I dont commute run errands on it though.

I love gof games where you can change the trajectory of the ball once it's already in the air. It's so realistic 😀

I've been trying to jog on a daily basis since school ended, but realistically I only get out 4-5 times a week. Still better than the old no-time-to-do-anything-but study during the semester. 🙂

Yeah, I was thinking that too.

Then again, most of the people who really don't exercise at all probably aren't even bothering to click on this thread. The poll is just for grins, I was mostly interested to see what other people's routines looked like.

Well there's a difference between productive workouts and just working out. 😛

Heck, someone can work out for 20min a day and say he/she works out 7 days a week.
