With an acre to mow, I try to get away with once a week. Of course that never works out, its looks ragged after 4-5 days so I cut it again........ So twice a week is the answer I s'pose.......

Never. My neighbor is trying to sell his house so he cuts it for me. Apparently I am too inept to cut it properly or often enough to suit him.

lol too rich for my blood, I do it myself in under 5min. I don't understand why there's a stereotype that men are lazy when it comes to cutting grass, its so damn easy!

Do NOT trim it super short. Once the rain slows down this is a sure way of killing your grass. ALWAYS mow at the highest setting after the first cut of the season, which would be a scalping.

Never. Once in a while, I'll trim the edge along the driveway with a weed whip, but that's about it.

"Mexicans" do it for $25/week (once) and I agree.. that's too rich for me. The worst part of mowing is having to empty it into a bag and repeat... it's just tiring after 3 full bags... then you gotta do the backyard too. The actual mowing isn't too bad.

Some day (may it come soon) I may not have to mow at all. I'm gradually reforesting most of my property.

Empty the bag? Buy a mulching lawnmower.

I LOVE to mow the lawn. Once every weekend no question. Now my 3yr old runs around after me with his Little Tykes mower. Good sh!t.

Wish my yard was bigger though!
