how often do you cut your grass?

cutting grass is very profitable for some that does this for a living! i seen a rich guy living in a half a million dollar house and that's all he does!!!
btw rich are extremely lazy, anything that takes quite a bit of work = pay good $$$

As infrequently as possible. I have better things to do than cut some worthless grass. It would be nice if I could just replace all of it with cement. Having all that space actually be useable would be great.

lol too rich for my blood, I do it myself in under 5min. I don't understand why there's a stereotype that men are lazy when it comes to cutting grass, its so damn easy!
"Mexicans" do it for $25/week (once) and I agree.. that's too rich for me. The worst part of mowing is having to empty it into a bag and repeat... it's just tiring after 3 full bags... then you gotta do the backyard too. The actual mowing isn't too bad.

Tiring after 3 bags? How big are those bags?
They're standard black garbage bags that I compress as much as possible. Each bag is about 3 empties. Just shaking the grass out of the mower bag is a chore. That stuff is stuffed in there pretty good. It would help if I did it more often, but again... it's just a chore because of all this activity.

If it were just a mulcher (and it does say mulcher on the mower)... I would have to leave the grass pretty tall, no ? Meaning just shave off a bit at the top... otherwise the clippings are all over the place and very visible.

My grass is cut (front yard and back) once per week. But we have a landscaper guy who comes and does it weekly now. I think the $40 per week is more than worth the hassle.

I pay my kid to mow it about once a week, for five bucks. I'm lucky he's only eight, he would demand at least twenty bucks to cut it (he cuts about 2 acres) if he was a teenager. He still likes to drive the riding mower.

When I was 8 I would have paid someone to cut their grass with a riding mower.

i hate it when the grass grow so fast due to sprinkler that you have to cut it every 5 days! too much work to keep it all trimmed and nice.

some pay them nothing because they have no need for extra cash. becareful not to give them too much dough or they might buy weeds/drugs with it

I've been trying to get in the habit of twice a week because a freshly mowed lawn looks great plus I like doing it. But, mother nature hasn't been too cooperative and it's been raining like the Amazon this Spring. Sure has made the grass grow fast, though.

I have to mow the grass twice a week. I am in Florida and my grass is growing 1 inch a day so if i let it go an entire week it gets out of control

It has nothing to do with how lazy I am...I cut it when it needs to be cut. Why would I cut it when it hasn't grown any? That would be stupid.

Most years it's once a week, but this year it's been twice a week or more.

We had the wettest May on record here in Detroit and we're working on June. 🙁

My grass has never been this green.

Bagging: once every 8-9 days.
Mulching: once every 5-7 days (otherwise I'll leave clumps).

It all depends on the amount that it grew (which depends on rain). Time to do it again tonight.

I just clicked 30 days or more (extremely lazy), though I prefer to think of it as extremely SANE! WTF wants to do a chore that doesn't need to be done? Oh, that's right, my looney neighbor for one. I honestly haven't cut my front yard since the 22nd of June. This is how it looks right now. The guy across the street doesn't need to cut any more than I do, but he's turned this into some kind of hobby. IMO, that's REALLY twisted!
