How much would you spend on a concert?

Prolly about 100$... But I'd pay more to see some bands if I had to.

Paid $81.50/ea for floor tickets to see Metallica last time they were in town.

I spent over $500 per seat to see a show but that also incuded being able to go back stage after the show and meet the performers and such!!

Well worth it!!

Brakedown of every concert I've been to that I can think of at the moment , and what I paid for it:
Iron Maiden/Dio - $45
Trans-siberian Orchestra - $40
Aquabats/Planet Smashers - $20
Sonata Arctica - $20 both times
Children of Bodom/Trivium/Amon Amarth - $17
Dragonforce - $16

If a band charges more than $60, their taking advantage of their fans. It really should not cost that much unless there are other things invovled, maybe if its a festival, or there are 2 or 3 really good opening bands. If you have a symphony with you, it will obviously cost more as well, but not many things justify that kind of ticket price.

I spent $40 for a Sigur Ros concert, 3rd row. That's about the limit. Heck, Slint was only $35 last year. I much prefer the smaller venues. TV on the Radio at the Casbah last night in San Diego was $14. Hard to beat that.

i would only spend that much money if it was stevie wonder or a rage against the machine reunion show. other than that, i usually draw the line at $35, $50 if its a festival or if its a lot of good acts. i believe when i saw sade it was around $50 for tickets, but someone bought them for me and i wouldve paid $50 regardless to see her live.

i could see myself spending in the hundreds, depending on the act and seat of course 🙂

that price for shakira is about an order of magnitude off for me though 😛

I paid $225 for Celiene dion tickets in vegas. 45mins after showtime. Its cancelled. 6 tickets- 1500 bucks with service charges.

Probably no more than $50. Most I've paid is ~$40 for Aerosmith/Run DMC/Cheap Trick at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Indianapolis, IN.
