How much would you spend on a concert?

Im considering getting tickets to Shakira in concert in Denver, but the presale ends in around 30 min, but im having a hard time bringing myself to spend $98.25 on a single concert ticket.

What is the most you have ever paid or would ever pay to get good seats at a concert?
 
My limit is pretty much 40 dollars for a big show (For instance, Foo Fighters and Weezer), 20 dollars for a smaller venue, smaller band show (Aquabats)
 
that all depends on the concert.

Nsync? they would have to pay me
Dave matthews? 50 or 60..what they go for
Radiohead? Anything < 600 and if it was first row...i dont know what i would do.
 
I hate paying that much for a concert, not to mention i would have to drive around 115 miles just to see the concert, but i really want to see her live.

go to a strip club. money better spent. shakira is hot because her body is hot, not because she can sing.

I dont like the music really..but its not like she has a bad voice...

but yes..mostly popular cause she is smokin

Kind of like christina aguilera....she has a good voice..but its not liek she would be as big if she wasnt so hot.
 
Pink Floyd - whatever they charged... Zeppelin probably the same if they where all there (Bohnam kid on drums that is)

I dont do strip clubs. Personally, I really like her singing and the music. I would be going just as much for her as I would the music.
 
I spent around $70 on Metallica and Godsmack, and 40ish on several others. $100, I think i would draw the line there. And wuld need to be payed to go to shakira.
 
Nothing personal, just the type of music, pop, is not soemthing I would listen to, let alone spend money going to. look at what the people speaking agaisnt mention as thier music choices, they usually dont mesh
 
Truth is that's somehow cheap to spend on a shakira concert. She might be famous here in the US, but she is infinitely more famous in Europe and South America and she can actually sing live (in spanish, her voice is actually pleasant to listen to but when she sings in english is a total mess). I don't like her current music style, but she actually had good songs when she started ( when she sung only in spanish) and she made her Unplugged MTV Record.

If you really like Shakira, 100 bucks is not that expensive. In my case, I wouln't pay that kind of money to see Shakira.

My max is about $200 for a large venue and good band, $100 for medium venue with good band and $50 for small venue with amazing band. You'd hafta pay me to go see a rap or hip hop concert....

I dont understand your logic. As the venue gets smaller..price goes up.

Small venue concerts rule.

I agree, though it wouldn't be 'again' for me. I would pay comparable prices to see AC/DC live as well.

Otherwise, for a band I am a huge fan of, I would generally spend up to $150. On a good band, maybe $60. It goes down from there. . . I spent $25 to see Buckethead a few weeks ago, which was a pretty good value.

best vaule I ever got was either flogging molly for 20, or sigur ros FRONT row for 50
 
hmm i have spent about 400 on Phish in MSG '02, this was not face value, but from a scalp. highest face was probably big cypress.
